Flexible conveyor
Flexible conveyor: mobile roller conveyor for variable routes when loading/unloading trucks.
A flexible conveyor, also scissor mesh roller conveyor or accordion conveyor, is a mobile and adaptable version of a roller conveyor.
How it works
A scissor grid mechanism allows the conveyor to be adjusted variably in length, shape and height. It can be pulled apart, pushed together and shaped into curves. Most models are not powered and use gravity.
areas of application
Flexible conveyors are ideal for temporary or changing locations eg when loading and unloading trucks, where they bridge the gap between vehicle and stationary conveyor technology.
benefits
Its greatest strength is extreme flexibility and mobility. They can be stowed away to save space when not in use and can be used quickly to reduce manual transport distances and create ergonomic workplaces.
