Glossar
A Intralogistics project is a project to plan, implement or modernize internal logistics systems in order to improve the efficiency of material flow or adapt it to new requirements.
It comprises phases from analysis and technical advice to design, implementation and commissioning. This can be the construction of a complete new plant or a targeted retrofit of an existing plant.
Typical projects include the introduction of new conveyor technology, the automation of a warehouse using stacker cranes, or the strategic modernization of an outdated system to extend its life cycle.
A successful intralogistics project increases productivity, lowers operating costs and increases flexibility. It ensures the future viability of the site by making processes faster, more transparent and more resilient.
