A modernization strategy is a long-term approach for renewing and optimising existing intralogistics systems. It looks at the entire life cycle of the plant in order to maintain its value.
The strategy starts with an analysis of the current situation (e.g. through technical advice), which assesses risks such as outdated control systems or mechanical wear. A roadmap for targeted RETROFIT measures will then be developed.
Every company with durable systems such as stacker cranes needs a modernization strategy to avoid unplanned, costly failures and remain competitive.
A proactive strategy minimizes failure risks and ensures productivity. Investments can be planned and the lifetime of valuable plant infrastructure is maximized instead of reacting to expensive failures.
