Retrofit

RetroFit: Plant modernization for greater performance, longer service life and lower costs.

A RetroFit, also plant modernization, is the strategic technical retrofitting of existing machines and systems. Outdated components are specifically being replaced by modern, more powerful components.

How it works

A typical RETROFIT project exchanges key components. In intralogistics, this is often control technology (SPS), the drive technology or worn mechanics of a stacker. The solid basic structure of the plant is retained.

areas of application

A RetroFit is the ideal solution for systems whose mechanics are still intact but whose control system is outdated or susceptible to faults. This applies to durable goods such as stacker cranes or conveyor technology.

benefits

The advantages are significant cost savings compared to a new system, shorter downtime, extended service life and higher performance. A manufacturer-neutral retrofit by TELOGS It also ensures independence and the supply of spare parts.
