A lifter, also a vertical conveyor, is an element of conveyor technology that is responsible for the purely vertical transport of piece goods or pallets between different levels.
A lifter transports conveyed goods along the Y-axis. It consists of a lifting sled with an integrated conveyor platform, which moves in a mast scaffolding. The load unit is conveyed onto the platform, transported to the finish floor and returned from there.
lifter are essential for connecting conveyor lines over several floors. They transport goods from ground level to mezzanine levels or connect different floors in a warehouse.
Lifts enable a space-saving and safe vertical flow of material. Compared to inclined conveyor belts, they require a very small floor space and are seamlessly integrated into the entire conveyor concept.
